Entry Requirements

The BSB50420 requires you to complete a total of 12 units of competency:
- 6 core units (mandatory for all students)
- 6 elective units, selected according to the rules below:
- At least 4 elective units must come from the approved elective list
- The remaining 2 units may come from the elective list, or from a Certificate IV or above in any currently endorsed Training Package

Credit Transfer applies if you have already completed units of competency from another RTO or registered institution. You can apply to have these recognised, which may reduce your study load.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is for students who have developed skills through work experience, life experience or informal learning. If you can show that you already have the skills and knowledge a unit requires, you may be granted competency without completing the full unit.

Course credit may affect your course fees and course duration. If your application is approved, you will receive written notice of the outcome and any changes. If your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) has already been issued, a new CoE will be sent showing the updated duration.
